TCD652160 HD Digital Video Recorder - When TiVo Meets HD
The new TiVo TCD652160 provides users with all of the convenience and the features that they've come to expect from TiVo, but with the addition of HDTV compatibility. The TCD652160 records up to twenty hours of high definition programming in all of the detail and clarity of the HD format and as many as 180 hours of programming in standard definition.
Since you can connect your TiVo TCD652160 to the World Wide Web with its integrated Ethernet port as well as through your home network with a wireless USB adapter, you can download movies and other video straight to your television or HDTV and watch in standard or high definition while being able to rewind, pause or put it into slow motion whether you're watching live or pre-recorded programming.
You won't have to figure out how to integrate another box into your home entertainment or home theater setup; the TiVo TCD652160 uses CableCards, so it can replace your existing cable box. This model also has two tuners, allowing you to record two different shows at the same time while watching one you've already recorded on your TiVo.
Features of the TiVo TCD652160 include:
- 160 GB internal hard drive for 20 hours of HD recording capacity or 180 hours of standard definition recording; you can also connect your TiVo to My DVR Expander through its E-SATA port for increased recording capacity
- Rewind, play or play HD or standard definition programming in slow motion
- Compatibility with virtually any home entertainment system configuration: analog or digital antenna, analog or digital cable as well as broadband internet input are all supported
- Video output modes of 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i are supported
- Simultaneous recording capabilities allow recording two programs at the same time, even while watching another recorded program
- Outputs for S-Video, component video, HDMI, digital sound and composite video (an additional audio cable may be required depending on system configuration)
- Composite cable, RJ-45 cable, component cable, user's manual, Quick Start guide and remote control with 2 AA batteries are included
